Tattoo After Care
Our job is done, now it’s your turn. Not taking care of your new tattoo properly may result in the loss of quality, so please follow these instructions carefully. DO NOT take advice from “home tattooers” or “tattoo experts” at the bar. Call us first!
When you get home
Remove the bandage after 1-2 hours. Wash your tattoo with warm water and liquid gold dial antibacterial soap. Do not exfoliate or be rough. Pat dry with paper towel. Apply thin coat of A v& D ointment or Aquaphor.
First Week
This is the crucial period! Continue to wash your tattoo 2-3 times daily with the recommended soap, pat dry, and apply thin coat of ointment.
Second Week
Continue washing your tattoo, keeping it clean is very important. Stop using the ointment and switch to a dye-free, fragrance-free lotion. We recommend Aquaphor Lotion, Curel or Lubriderm or Gold bond.
